The Bellaire Eagles will challenge the Central Lake Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Central Lake took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bellaire, who comes in off a win.
Bellaire is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Forest Area 14-6 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.
Tucker Molski was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. Molski was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, Tyler Shumaker and Brady Aldrich did most of the damage at the plate: Shumaker got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs, two doubles, and one RBI, while Aldrich got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Aldrich a new career-high. Ben Klooster was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Bellaire always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Central Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-3 to Onaway.
Riley Shafer made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Druckenmiller, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.
Central Lake's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bellaire, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
Everything went Bellaire's way against Central Lake in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Bellaire made off with an 11-1 win. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
