Pisgah entered their tilt with East Carteret on Wednesday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with an 11-7 win over the Mariners.

Lilly Inman was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off 11 hits. Inman was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs.

In other batting news, Jaiden Smith was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Addie Foust, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI and one double.

Pisgah kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in ten consecutive games.

Pisgah pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for East Carteret, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Looking ahead, Pisgah will square off against West Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Carteret, they will take on North Myrtle Beach at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
