Soccer Recap: Junction City/St. Xavier Comes Up Short

Junction City/St. Xavier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Junction City/St. Xavier can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Bishop Carroll are ranked fifth).

Junction City/St. Xavier's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Bishop Carroll, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Coming up, Junction City/St. Xavier will take on Topeka on Thursday. As for Bishop Carroll, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North on Tuesday.
