Baseball Recap: Oak Ridge Comes Up Short

Oak Ridge lost against Granite Bay back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans fell 8-4 to the Grizzlies. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jackson Molloy and Jasen Womack stepped up to the plate in a big way. Molloy went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Womack went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. Another player making a difference was Dylan Busalacchi, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Oak Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Granite Bay, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-14 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Grizzlies beat Oak Ridge by a score of 8-3 on Thursday.
