Baseball Recap: St. Mary Victorious

After losing to Benzie Central the last time they met, St. Mary decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 4-1 on Thursday.

The win got St. Mary back to even at 1-1. As for Benzie Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary will venture away from home to face off against Traverse City Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Benzie Central, they will head out to challenge Buckley at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Huskies' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
