Softball Recap: Rock Hill Comes Up Short

Rock Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Andrew Jackson Volunteers, falling 14-4.

Madelyn Coye made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Kenley MacKay also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Rock Hill's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Andrew Jackson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Rock Hill will be playing at home against Catawba Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Catawba Ridge will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Rock Hill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Andrew Jackson, they are taking a road trip to square off against Buford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
