Volleyball Recap: Union Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Moniteau Warriors. The Knights/Damsels were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

While Union was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Moniteau's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-15, 25-18.

When it comes to explaining why Union lost, don't look at Lillian Hayden. Despite the final result, she had 23 digs. Hayden is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Haley Corle was another key player, getting six kills, three digs, two aces, and one block.

Union's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Moniteau, their record is now 6-8.
