Baseball Recap: Crook County Takes a Loss

Crook County fell victim to Gladstone and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Gladiators, falling 19-0. Cowboys fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Gladiators since on Friday.

Crook County's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-15. As for Gladstone, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Crook County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gladstone, they will square off against Scappoose at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indians will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Gladiators surely won't give up without a fight.
