Highland Hall won the last time they faced San Fernando Valley Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Hawks had just enough and edged out the Huskies 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Highland Hall took San Fernando Valley Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-15, 25-8, 11-25, 17-15.

Johana Kendall paced Highland Hall's offense, picking up seven kills. Kendall got some help from Anya Lisco and her seven assists. Anna Guzman-Fuschs controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Highland Hall's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for San Fernando Valley Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Highland Hall will be playing at home against TREE Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Fernando Valley Academy, they will take on Westmark on Thursday.
