Bishop Watterson has gone 8-2 against St. Francis DeSales recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Monday. The Eagles will take on the Stallions at 5:00  p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  run totals in their previous games.
Bishop Watterson took a loss when they played away from home  on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Thursday. They put the hurt on St. Charles with a sharp  10-1 win. The Eagles have beaten the Cardinals the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cardinals has come to flipping the script.
 Noah Lawler made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Lawler was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.

 In other pitching news,  Anthony DeMassimo looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits any time he's  pitched this season.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Ben Uhlenhake, who  fired off two  home runs, three  runs,  and one  stolen base while going 2-for-3. Those  two  home runs gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Michael Mulligan, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 Bishop Watterson  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, St. Francis DeSales didn't have quite enough to beat Bishop Hartley on Thursday and fell  11-10.
 Bishop Watterson's victory was  their eighth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-3-1. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for St. Francis DeSales, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
 Bishop Watterson beat St. Francis DeSales 7-2  in their previous matchup  last Wednesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
