Basketball Recap: Knippa Comes Up Short

Knippa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the D'Hanis Cowboys, falling 44-16. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crushers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-16 back in December of 2024.

Knippa's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for D'Hanis, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Knippa will head out to face off against Rocksprings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for D'Hanis, they are taking a road trip to square off against Utopia at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. D'Hanis' defense has only allowed 26.8 points per game this season, so Utopia's offense will have their work cut out for them.
