Baseball Recap: Gladwin Comes Up Short

Gladwin couldn't beat Shepherd on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Flying G's fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 7-6. The Flying G's were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejays apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Gladwin and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for Shepherd, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5-1.

While Gladwin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
