Baseball Recap: West Harrison Comes Up Short

West Harrison fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Pascagoula on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 13-6. Surprisingly, this marked the Hurricanes' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Carlos Pena was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one double. Tyler Gazzier was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

West Harrison's loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Pascagoula, their record is now 10-17.

West Harrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pascagoula, they have already played their next matchup, a 7-2 defeat against Pearl River Central on the 25th.
