Eastland has gone a perfect 10-0 against Millsap recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mavericks will square off against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Eastland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Eastland took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Dublin with a sharp 18-3 victory. The Mavericks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

Ana Cunningham looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Jayci Majors was a standout: she scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Yozelyn Ojeda was another key player, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3.

Eastland kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dublin only managed three hits.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Millsap's offense. They came up short against Comanche on Friday, falling 17-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost nine in a row.

Eastland is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Millsap, they now have a losing record of 11-12-1.

Eastland took their victory against Millsap in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 8-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mavericks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
