Clearfield was the 12-2 winner over Somerset when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bison took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Friday. The Bison's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Clearfield saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eve Siegel, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Haley Billotte also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Clearfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Somerset, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clearfield will challenge Huntingdon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Somerset, they will face off against Central Cambria at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
