Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Rayne on Wednesday, Lafayette Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons on Friday. Knights fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Falcons since Friday.

Lafayette Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season. As for Episcopal of Acadiana, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Lafayette Christian Academy and Episcopal of Acadiana will both be playing Riverside Academy the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Rebels at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
