Soccer Recap: Washington County Takes a Loss

Washington County lost against Dodge County back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Washington County Golden Hawks lost 5-0 to the Dodge County Indians. The Golden Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Dodge County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington County will head out to square off against Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Washington County has given up an average of 4.5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Dodge County, they will head out on the road to face off against Academy for Classical Education at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Dodge County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.
