Volleyball Recap: Desert Sunrise Comes Up Short

Desert Sunrise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Dysart Demons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Demons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 1st.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-13.

Desert Sunrise's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Dysart, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Desert Sunrise wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Tempe on the 22nd. As for Dysart, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Northwest Christian on the 21st.
