Softball Game Preview: ALA - Gilbert North Eagles vs. Crismon Rattlers

For the second straight game, ALA - Gilbert North will face off against Crismon. The Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Rattlers at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. ALA - Gilbert North comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

ALA - Gilbert North came up short against Crismon on Tuesday, falling 20-3.

For Crismon's part, Skylar DaCosta was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Alee Grace Trunell was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Crismon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. They are 13-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Crismon is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 15.7 runs. As for ALA - Gilbert North, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
