Soccer Recap: Madrid Takes a Loss

Madrid came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-0 to the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs. While losing is never fun, Madrid can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 118th, while Dallas Center-Grimes are ranked 11th).

Madrid's loss dropped their record down to 6-8-3. As for Dallas Center-Grimes, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-7-2.

Madrid does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dallas Center-Grimes, they have already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Perry on the 28th.
