Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Highland Park). They were the clear victors by a 29-2 margin over the Northeast Vikings on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Scots, who have now won five matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Highland Park got a massive performance out of Mason Foxford, who went 3-for-5 with six RBI, four runs, and two stolen bases. Foxford also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Saul Ramos-Hernadez was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Highland Park always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .700. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Highland Park's win bumped their record up to 5-3-2. As for Northeast, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland Park will take on Washington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.64 runs per game on average), something the Scots will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Northeast, they will be taking part in a tournament against Harmon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
