Baseball Recap: Moore County Takes a Loss

Moore County fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Coffee County Central on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Red Raiders, falling 15-2. The Raiders have struggled against the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Moore County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Coffee County Central, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Moore County is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Warren County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Coffee County Central, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against The Webb School at 6:00 p.m.
