South San Francisco extended their winning streak to 13 on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 19-4 in the process. Everything went their way against the Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons as they made off with an 11-5 win. Considering the Warriors have won 15 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Josh Nabung was excellent, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Diego Carranza also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

South San Francisco hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive contests.

As for Crystal Springs Uplands, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 16-3. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this match were averaging three runs allowed.

On Crystal Springs Uplands' side, Nico Abad was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Connor Uchida, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

South San Francisco will have a chance to go back-to-back against Crystal Springs Uplands: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
