Southern Lee put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Triton Hawks with a sharp 3-0 win. This was payback for the Cavaliers, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Southern Lee never let Triton on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-20.

Southern Lee's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Triton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southern Lee will face off against rival South Johnston at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Triton is set to take on their familiar foe West Johnston at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
