Volleyball Recap: Minooka Falls Short Against Ranked Hamilton

Minooka is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Hamilton. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

Kendall Kozak paced Minooka's offense, picking up ten kills. Kozak also shared the team's lead in assists with Kennedy Walker: they picked up ten each.

Minooka has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-9 record this season. As for Hamilton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 22 of their last 25 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-6 record this season.

Minooka will face off against Joliet West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton, they will venture away from home to take on Brookfield East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
