Football Recap: Harvester Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Harvester Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since September 6, 2024 on Friday. They were outmatched by the Lafayette Christian Cougars and fell 44-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Auston Young threw for 133 yards while completing 76.5% of his passes. Drew Nickelson was his top target, picking up 89 receiving yards.

Harvester Christian Academy's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2. As for Lafayette Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Harvester Christian Academy will host Fideles Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lafayette Christian, they will challenge Central Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
