Volleyball Recap: Strathmore Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Victory

Strathmore entered their tilt with Lindsay on Thursday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Cardinals 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Strathmore was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 25-12.

Hannah Jones paced Strathmore's offense, picking up 16 kills. Jones got some help from Pearl Johnson and her 25 assists. Allisson Hernandez controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Strathmore's victory bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Lindsay, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-14-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Strathmore and Lindsay will both be playing Woodlake the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will head out to face the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Spartans will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
