Baseball Recap: Waynesboro Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Waynesboro hadn't done well against Stuarts Draft recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Little Giants had just enough and edged out the Cougars 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Little Giants: when they faced off against the Cougars on April 1st, they had to take a 13-11 defeat.

Waynesboro's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jasiah Berg, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Dalen Daughtry also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
