Basketball Game Preview: Union Titans vs. Glacier Peak Grizzlies

The Union Titans will challenge the Glacier Peak Grizzlies at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Union knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 24 games -- so hopefully Glacier Peak likes a good challenge.

Union is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Woodinville, who was ranked fifth at the time (Union was ranked 16th). Union took a 70-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodinville. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (56), the Titans still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Glacier Peak had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 52-43.

Union's defeat dropped their record down to 20-4. As for Glacier Peak, their win bumped their record up to 19-7.

Union couldn't quite finish off Glacier Peak in their previous meeting back in March of 2020 and fell 47-45. Can Union avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
