Basketball Recap: Model Comes Up Short

Model suffered their biggest loss since February 20th on Sunday. They took a blow against the Bell County Bobcats, falling 75-43. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Model dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bell County, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Model won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lynn Camp at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Model is facing Lynn Camp at the right time seeing as Lynn Camp is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bell County, they will challenge Antioch at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Antioch knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Bell County likes a good challenge.
