On Tuesday, Arrowhead faced Waunakee in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Arrowhead Warhawks managed a 50-44 victory over the Waunakee Warriors. The win was nothing new for the Warhawks as they're now sitting on six straight.

Arrowhead got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Natalie Kussow out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Kussow is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sidney Zehner, who posted ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Arrowhead is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. As for Waunakee, with the defeat, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-3.

Arrowhead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 76-53 win against Oconomowoc on the 17th. Waunakee has also already played their next matchup (against Stoughton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
