Basketball Recap: Texline Skates Past Wildorado with Ease

Texline entered their tilt with Wildorado on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed by the Wildorado Mustangs to the tune of 68-27. The Tornadoes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 24 points or more this season.

Texline has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.4 points per game. As for Wildorado, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

Texline will take on Childress in a tournament on Friday. Texline knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Childress likes a good challenge. Wildorado and Roosevelt will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
