Volleyball Recap: Tidewater Academy Takes a Loss

Tidewater Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 23-25, 25-12.

Taylor Trombley paced Tidewater Academy's offense, picking up two kills. Trombley got some help from Piper Weber and her two assists. Peyton Johnson controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Tidewater Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Tidewater Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Banner Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot will face off against rival Kenston Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
