Redding Christian had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Chester Volcanoes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.
While Redding Christian might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Chester scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 12-25, 25-18.
Redding Christian's win bumped their record up to 18-8-3. As for Chester, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-10.
