Lake Highlands won the last time they faced Berkner and things went their way on Friday too. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lake Highlands was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-4.

Lake Highlands was led to victory by Carrigan Anderly and Brylie Woodbury. Anderly had eight digs and four aces, while Woodbury had 12 digs and six aces. Anderly has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

They weren't the only good server: Lake Highlands was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 20 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since the start of last season.

When it comes to explaining why Berkner lost, don't look at Desiree Powell. Despite the final result, she had seven digs.

Lake Highlands' record now sits at 17-7. As for Berkner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.
