It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Clearwater had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 63-21 victory over the Northeast Vikings. The Tornadoes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Clearwater's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Justina Austin, who posted 15 points. Those 15 points gave Austin a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Allevia Williams, who earned 15 points.

Northeast's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of McKinley Joseph, who scored 12 points, and Geniya Fisher, who had seven points.

Clearwater's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-14.

Clearwater wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-34 victory against Countryside on the 8th. Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
