Softball Recap: Leto Takes a Loss

After flying high against Middleton on Monday, Leto came back down to earth. The Falcons came up short against the Blake Yellow Jackets on Tuesday, falling 18-6. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellow Jackets earlier this season, when they won 23-13.

Jayla Fernandez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Leto has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Blake, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.

Leto didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-4 defeat against Armwood on the 23rd. As for Blake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 18-3 victory against King on the 23rd.
