Chase County came tearing into Saturday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Bridgeport Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Thursday.

Riley Rusher paced Chase County's offense, picking up seven kills. Rusher got some help from Anna Aragon and her 11 assists.

Bridgeport's loss came despite strong showings from Ella Schluterbusch and Kayci Sorenson. Schluterbusch had 13 digs, while Sorenson had six digs and two aces. Schluterbusch is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Chase County's victory bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Bridgeport, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-18 record this season.

Chase County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Perkins County on the 18th. As for Bridgeport, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Valentine on the 18th.
