Volleyball Recap: Hanks Comes Up Short at Home Against Jefferson

Hanks unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Jefferson Silver Foxes on Tuesday. The Knights have struggled against the Silver Foxes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 24-26, 25-20.

Loss or not, Hanks got some senior leadership from Sarai Flores and Ariana Guillen. Flores had 21 digs and two aces, while Guillen had six digs and two aces.

Hanks wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Whitehouse on the 14th. As for Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Bowie on the 14th.
