Basketball Recap: East Knox Finds Home Court Redemption Against Mt. Gilead

There's no place like home for East Knox, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Mt. Gilead Indians by a score of 49-36 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-25 back in December of 2024.

East Knox's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Mt. Gilead, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

East Knox will head out on the road to face off against Lucas at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mt. Gilead, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cardington-Lincoln at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Mt. Gilead has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
