Volleyball Recap: Paradise Falls to Las Plumas in First Game of Season

Paradise unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Las Plumas Thunderbirds by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Paradise took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 16-25, 25-27, 25-21, 15-13.

Coming up, Paradise will face off against CORE Butte at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Las Plumas, they will take on Durham in a tournament on Saturday.
