Softball Recap: 'Aiea Comes Up Short

'Aiea blew Waipahu out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Waipahu got their revenge. The Na Alii fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 16-14. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (12), the Na Alii still had to take the loss.

'Aiea has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Waipahu, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9-1.

As of now, neither 'Aiea nor the Marauders have any future games scheduled.
