Basketball Game Preview: Chinle Wildcats vs. Monument Valley Mustangs

The Chinle Wildcats will head out to challenge the Monument Valley Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Chinle beat Window Rock 56-52.

Meanwhile, Monument Valley got the win against Ganado on Tuesday by a conclusive 51-25. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Monument Valley is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Chinle, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8.

Chinle was able to grind out a solid win over Monument Valley in their previous matchup last Saturday, winning 61-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chinle since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
