Volleyball Recap: Union County Starts off Right with Win over Franklin County

Union County had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Franklin County Lions. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won three in a row.

While Union County might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Franklin County scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19.

Coincidentally, Union County and Franklin County will both be playing Banks County the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Leopards at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
