Basketball Recap: West Central Valley Comes Up Short

West Central Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 50-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pleasantville Trojans. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

West Central Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Pleasantville, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

West Central Valley will challenge Colfax-Mingo at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. West Central Valley is facing Colfax-Mingo at the right time seeing as Colfax-Mingo is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Pleasantville has already played their next match (against Van Meter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
