San Ramon Valley took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Heritage Patriots as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

While San Ramon Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-22, 25-9.

Their offense was headlined by Hope Diekmann and Fia So'oto, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Anuu Purev-Thompson and her 14 assists. Colbie Albright controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

San Ramon Valley will challenge Marin Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Heritage, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Santa Rosa on the 30th.
