After a string of four wins, Trinity Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 62-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenhill Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 63-61 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2021.

Greenhill's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was DIllon Watt, who posted 16 points and three steals. The game was Watt's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Davis, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards.

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Greenhill, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Trinity Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-51 victory against North Central Texas Academy on the 7th. As for Greenhill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 66-55 win against Grace Prep on the 7th.
