Volleyball Recap: Pike Road Takes a Loss

Pike Road lost against St. Paul's Episcopal back in August of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Patriots fell just short of the Saints by a score of 2-1. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Pike Road sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 22-25, 15-13.

Pike Road's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-12 record this season.

Pike Road will face off against Opelika at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Bowling Green on the 4th.
