Fossil Ridge had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came out on top against the Granbury Pirates by a score of 11-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-6 on March 5th.

The team relied heavily on Callie Mauppin, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Yari Santiago was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

Fossil Ridge's win bumped their record up to 12-3-1. As for Granbury, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Fossil Ridge will square off against rival Azle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Granbury is set to challenge their familiar foe Saginaw at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
