Softball Recap: Whiting Comes Up Short

Whiting came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Westville Blackhawks, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Oilers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Whiting has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Westville, their record now sits at 15-5.

Whiting does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westville, they have already played their next game, a 7-0 win against Michigan City on the 24th.
